We recently had the honor of documenting Lekia & Sir Quence’s beautiful wedding at Venue 1902, a historic venue in the heart of Sanford, Florida. Their day was everything a wedding should be—refined, intentional, and deeply personal.

Ceremony Under the Florida Sun
Venue 1902’s historic charm served as the perfect foundation for Lekia & Sir Quence’s celebration. Originally built in the early 1900s, this restored schoolhouse blends Southern elegance with timeless architecture—arched windows, original wood floors, and manicured lawns that feel both intimate and grand.
Their outdoor ceremony featured lush white and yellow florals lining the aisle and framing the altar. Surrounded by their closest loved ones, the couple exchanged vows beneath the trees and golden sunlight. Guests were asked to wear black formal attire, creating a stunning contrast against the soft, romantic palette of the florals and the bride’s white gown.
A Reception with Modern Elegance
Inside the venue’s reception hall, the atmosphere shifted seamlessly into a stylish black-and-white celebration. Tables were draped in sleek black and white linens, with floral centerpieces that echoed the ceremony design. A striking black and white checkered dance floor added a modern, editorial touch to the room.
Every detail was intentional. Every moment was heartfelt.
Lekia’s gown was a true vision—classic and graceful. Sir Quence’s white jacket added a clean, modern edge to his otherwise all-black ensemble. The couple’s style, just like their energy, was effortless and bold.
They closed the night with a sparkler send-off, walking hand-in-hand under a tunnel of lights and cheers. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day.
